Homer by helmut schonwalder is about... "... just another poetic day-off-duty in Monterey in the 1990s..." says helmut s.
Homer by helmut... ... is a way of com-paring the Saga of Achilles as he aged while lying out- front of Troy, fighting a senseless battle, wasting many years and nobody but the gods were laughing, ...comparing it with the guy on the street who aging spends all his time with chasing money, women and toys like cars, boats and planes. Playing games he winning loses his precious time, this precious time the unconditional grant, given to everyone rich or poor, sick or healthy, old or young, this precious time spans every second of each day, every minute. Twenty four hours we all have, not more not less. ...is about the Iliad, where Achilles godlike but not immortal wastes the best years of his life to besiege Troy and for what? you may ask, "Why did he?" Here in Homer's ILIAD buried lies the truth to all secrets of life. "Don't waste your time for you have so little of it ." ...is about gods, preachers, politicians, warriors, hunters, storytellers and prostitutes and all of them provide themes which are somewhat limited. Yet the colors are so many! Computeresia is a Land far away and yet so close, a country many of us live their life in and couldn't be without, reflections on senseless battles in which Achilles never got what he wanted, yet he got what he deserved, if he wanted it or not. Is it about the Iliad, where Achilles godlike but not immortal wastes the best years of his life to besiege Troy and for what? ...is an account of the time passing, day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. Twenty four hours are all there is each day. Homer might have been a better liar than I am. Still we have in common that we both attempt to share what we see. ...and more of helmut's poetry is lost and found in...
