| ...photo showing the beach towards the Monterey Beach Hotel in Seaside. This hotel has
been there for a good number of years and has seen many storms. In the El Nino years the
parking lot was damaged. |
| The beach in front so I am told has not changed much in the past 30 or so years, as sand
gets carried away during storms, the longshore currents soon bring it back and deposit it
right where it always used to be. |
| Might this be a pocket of a depositional beach? |
